A redistricting battle continues.

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall joined guest host Jody Hice on Washington Watch following a judicial blockage of Alabama’s redistricting efforts.

The three-judge panel “didn’t want to acknowledge that race should not be a basis for drawing maps.”

“We’ve taken this fight back to the Supreme Court and [are] looking forward to their decision next week.”

Which candidates will stand up for the unborn?

Democratic candidates are talking about their abortion agenda far less in the 2026 midterm elections than in the two previous congressional cycles, according to an analysis published Friday by NPR.

“Full-throated support for legal abortion was poor strategy for Democrats during the most recent election cycle,” says Michael J. New, a professor at Catholic University and a senior associate scholar at the Charlotte Lozier Institute.

A three-judge federal panel on Tuesday ignored the Supreme Court’s redistricting ruling and again blocked Alabama from using its new district map, which the judges smeared as racist.

Democrats are appealing last week's Virginia Supreme Court ruling, which nullified the state's redistricting referendum, to the federal Supreme Court.

Ken Cuccinelli joined Family Research Council President Tony Perkins to discuss the arguments.
