🎓🌳 Tree Corps Class of 2026! 🌳🎓

We are so proud to celebrate the graduation of our 2026 Tree Corps! What an incredible journey of service, growth, leadership, and impact.

Throughout their term of service, our Corps members dedicated more than 600 hours of service to our community and environment and helped plant over 400 trees!! 🌱🌳 Their hard work has left a lasting impact that will continue to grow long after their service with us.

A huge thank you to all of the family and friends who joined us to celebrate and support our Corps members on this special day. Your encouragement and support throughout their journey means so much. ❤️

We are also incredibly grateful to our Board of Directors and partners who supported, encouraged, and guided our Corps members throughout their time of service with Earth Conservation Corps.

A special thank you to our partners at D.C. Department of Transportation Urban Forestry Division for their continued partnership and for providing our Corps members with hands-on experience, knowledge, mentorship, and opportunities to make a real difference in DC’s urban tree canopy. 🌳

Today we had the opportunity to participate in the GZEP Job Fair, where we connected with so many incredible young people and received several applications for our next AmeriCorps cohort! 🎉
One of the highlights of the day was introducing attendees to Lacy, our Harris’s Hawk, who sparked lots of great conversations and smiles. 🦅

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table. We’re excited to meet the next generation of service members and look forward to what’s ahead!

Healthy wetlands start with healthy habitats. 🌿 We spent the day at Turtle Beach removing invasive plant species to give native plants the space they need to grow and thrive. Every invasive species removed helps strengthen the ecosystem, improve wildlife habitat, and support a healthier wetland for years to come.

Together, we’re restoring Turtle Beach—one plant at a time.

Today we’re at Wings Over America! 🦅 Located in Laurel, Maryland, this is one of our three education centers. Here, you’ll see the American Red Devons who call the property home. You’ll also find a variety of raptors cared for under U.S. Fish and Wildlife permits, as well as cows that call the property home. Our education and propagation raptors help us connect people with wildlife while supporting conservation and environmental education.
