A season of voice. A season of refuge.
That's what music has been for us this year β€” and for the audiences who filled these seats.
We're closing our fiscal year on June 30. If CCS has meant something to you, we'd love your support. Every gift keeps this music alive. 🎢

This season, something extraordinary happened β€” again and again.

Six orchestral programs. A brand-new Composers' League concert. A season finale with Beethoven's Ninth. A national award from the Atlas Performing Arts Center.
And behind every moment: 80+ volunteer musicians who showed up because they love this music and this city.

Help us close the year strong. Our fiscal year ends June 30, and your support ensures we can do it all again next season. 🎻

Music is a voice. Music is a refuge.

That's what Artistic Director Vicki Gau believes β€” and what this season proved, again and again.

Our musicians are teachers, parents, analysts, public servants. They don't play for a paycheck. They play because they need to. And through that choice, they create something that goes far beyond the stage: connection, meaning, and community.

If this resonates with you, we'd love to have you with us.

CCS Friday Encore Series 🎻
Every Friday at 3PM, we're bringing back a favorite moment from the stage. 🎬

Fanfare for Uncommon Times by Valerie Coleman
🎟 Persist! | October 5, 2025

πŸ“ Atlas Performing Arts Center

Fanfare for Uncommon Times is anything but a typical fanfare β€” it opens with a searching solo trombone line before building into something bold, restless, and deeply human. Watch Capital City Symphony bring it to life on the Atlas stage. 🎢

🎡 Inside CCS is back β€” and this week, we're so happy to introduce someone whose sound you know and love.

Meet Karin Caifa, one of our wonderful clarinetists at Capital City Symphony. 🎢

There's something truly special about the clarinet β€” bright and playful one moment, deeply expressive the next. Karin brings all of that warmth and artistry to our ensemble, and we're so grateful to have her as part of our CCS family.

Who's coming next? Stay tuned and follow along to find out. πŸ‘€

We're so excited to launch something special today β€” Inside CCS. 🎢

An orchestra is made up of extraordinary people, and we want you to get to know them. Each week, we'll introduce you to a member of our Capital City Symphony family β€” their story, their passion, and what the music means to them.

We're kicking things off with someone very special: Amy Driscoll, cellist and board member at CCS. Stay tuned for her full feature!

And the best part? This is just the beginning. A new member will be featured every week β€” so make sure you're following our page so you never miss a story.

We can't wait for you to meet everyone. πŸ’›

What an incredible evening!

What began as a joyful call to unity became something more as a room full of people came together, moved by the same music and sharing the same unforgettable moment.

Thank you to everyone who made Rise! truly special, from our audience whose warmth and presence filled every corner of our season finale concert to our musicians, soloists, and the singers of Cantate Concert Choir.
We also extend our thanks to the dedicated staff and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. It truly takes a village, and we are deeply grateful for each and every one of you.
