So excited to have another race come to Warsaw and Benton County. They are bringing people from all over the country coming to enjoy our trails.

We are so excited for all the Rock Island Trail work getting started in Benton County. This is an amazing opportunity for local towns and businesses.

Two central Missouri communities — Versailles and Cole Camp — celebrated groundbreaking ceremonies marking the next phase of development for Rock Island Trail State Park, Missouri’s 93rd and newest state park.

The twin ceremonies symbolize the growing statewide momentum behind transforming the former Rock Island Railroad corridor into a multi-use recreational trail that reconnects 23 communities.

We’re raising funds to maintain and improve our local trails and to help get more kids on bikes through our local NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) programs!

Sturdy, outdoor-ready picnic tables — great for parks, camps, backyards, schools, cabins, and trailheads!
They’re previously used and show normal wear, but they’ve got years of life left. Check out photos for details!

Thank you to the Osage Lakes Greenway board members and friends who volunteered their afternoon to move picnic tables at Thibaut Point Campground. Out with the old and in with the shiny new tables.

Today was the groundbreaking ceremony for the Cole Camp Rock Island Trailhead. It was great to be a part of this awesome groundbreaking ceremony. Excited to see more amazing trails being built in Benton County. The extension of outdoor recreation and the economic benefit for Cole Camp and the surrounding areas will be enormous. Can not wait for it to be completed. BUILD THE TRAIL!
