These ladies right here 👇 are the absolute best. This morning at our staff meeting, we had the joy of talking about our heart and purpose: to share the love of Jesus with every single person who walks through our doors.

Thank you for pouring out so much love, joy, and kindness every day. You make a real difference!

Thank you to Warsaw Church of the Nazarene for your generous gift to Crossroads Family Ministries and for allowing Tammy to share our mission with your congregation.

Crossroads would not be able to do what it does without the faithful support of our local churches. We are truly grateful for your partnership in this ministry.

As we work together to serve our community, we are reminded of the truth in 1 Corinthians 3:9:

"For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building."

We are so thankful for this sweet group from Faithful Shepherd Presbeterian Church in Omaha, NE, who chose to bless Crossroads/Thrift 4 Life with their service project. This group of young ladies worked so hard and accomplished a tremendous amount on Saturday!

Thanks also to JoAnne Ruble for helping set up the connection and for all you do for our community!

As Scripture reminds us:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters...” (Colossians 3:23)

Every tiny heartbeat, every little kick, every developing feature is the work of a Creator who already knows and loves that child. The same God who breathes life into us at birth is the One who forms us in secret.

There is no difference in value, only in size and location. A human being is a human being, fearfully and wonderfully made from the very beginning.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
Psalm 139:13-14

Every life is sacred, from the womb to the tomb. Let’s protect, value, and celebrate them all. 💕

Even when the path doesn’t make sense.
Even when the storm is loud.
Even when everything in you wants to fix it, control it, or run from it.

Trusting God means believing He is good, even when life feels hard.
It means choosing faith over fear.
Peace over panic.
His promises over your problems.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Today, release control and rest in His hands.
He’s never failed and He won’t start now.

Death is serious business.

We often hear people casually say “Rest in Peace” (RIP) when someone dies. But the truth is, real, eternal rest and peace do not happen automatically.

Scripture is clear: true peace with God and eternal rest only come through Jesus Christ.

Let’s stop just hoping our loved ones, friends, or strangers “find peace” after death. Instead, let’s make sure we’re actively telling them about Christ while they still have breath. The gospel isn’t just a comforting thought for the funeral, it’s the only hope for the deathbed and beyond.

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31)

Don’t wait until it’s too late. Share the good news today.
