At our meeting on Wednesday morning, we welcomed Todd Buzby as our guest speaker. Todd works with people who have traumatic brain injuries. He shared his own story with his TBI and stories of some of the members of his support group.

Recently, we hosted a great event at Fairways Golf Club! It was a great outing and we had so much fun! Thanks again to Hatboro Federal Savings and Bonargo Insurance Associates for the sponsorships!

Saturday morning, members of our club partnered with Warrington Township and participated in Warrington Day of Action at the Mary Barness swim club. Clean up of the area was done; a lot hard work was put in by all involved! It was a beautiful day of service!

On Tuesday night, we awarded 6 deserving young women with scholarships towards their college education totaling $30,000. Congratulations, ladies! Best of luck in all of your future endeavors!

Receiving scholarships were: Eliana Song, Josephine Yoon, Jessica Meshia, Aishwaya Ashok, Molly Griga, and Ria Solanki

We’re grateful for the continued support from Warrington Rotary and their recent diaper delivery last week. Contributions like these go a long way in helping us meet the essential needs of local families, offering comfort, dignity, and care when it’s needed most.

During our joint meeting with the Warminster Rotary Club this morning, we were delighted to welcome our visiting Italian Rotarians! Our clubs hosted Saverio & Laura Lastrucci and Giovanni & Giulio Petrocci for a few days, and their time was spent sightseeing all over our area. Saverio and Giovanni spoke to us about their background and what being a Rotarian looks like in Italy. We also watched a few video tours of Italy, which made us all want to visit as soon as possible!

This morning, we had the pleasure of having Ethan Binder as our guest speaker. Ethan is the Communications and Volunteer Coordinator for the Jewish Relief Agency. Started in 2000 and based in Northeast Philadelphia, this organization feeds over 3,500 families every month. Pictured with Ethan is rotarian Sam Griga.

Today our speaker was Steve Fortner, he is the board secretary of a great organization called Good Stuff Thrift. They work with great organizations like Lenape Valley Foundation and Christ’s Home. They have four stores in Huntingdon Valley, Fairless Hills, Doylestown, Buckingham. Go treasure hunting or get rid of some items around the house, all the while helping people at the same time.
