Got a call late last night asking me to make an impromptu trip four hours north to pick up a couple of my kids from their sister’s house today.

So what did I do? Asked Dad if he wanted to take a road trip, and we hit the road at 7:30 this morning to begin the 8-hour round trip! 😂

All on about 1½ hours of sleep, mind you. 🤦‍♂️

We’ve picked up the package and are now headed back home. But don’t think that means I won’t be back in time for an Ugly Mug of the Day update and tonight’s podcast! 🎙️😂

I’ll most likely be running on nothing but fumes by the time we get there, but we’re making it happen!

Because apparently, sleep is optional when your kids need you. ❤️
