This past May, Adiana (Ana) Tilley was honored as one of our two Grant-in-Aid awardees. She joined us at the Birthday Dinner with a colleague, and we were thrilled to welcome all three into Gamma Alpha during our September induction ceremony.

Ana is now beginning her third year teaching K–2 POHI in the Wayne-Westland Community Schools, where she continues to demonstrate dedication, compassion, and creativity in her work with young learners.

Ana shared that being part of DKG Gamma Alpha Chapter is “incredible,” and that she is proud to belong to a community of educators who are deeply committed to teaching, learning, and service. We are equally proud to have Ana as part of our chapter and look forward to supporting her continued growth and success.

The goal is to help children succeed in school by providing new school clothing, books, and hygiene products. The excitement of the kids who get an opportunity “to shop”together with an adult volunteer is indescribable!
