Today was a big milestone for our bear cubs. 🐻✨
They used a knife for the first time and learned how to whittle soap.
Before we ever started, we talked about safety, awareness, and respect for the tool. How to hold it properly. Where hands go and where they never go. Moving slowly, staying present, and understanding that a knife isn’t a toy, it’s a responsibility.
Watching them practice control and patience was the real lesson. The soap curls weren’t the point. The focus, care, and confidence they built along the way were.
Learning skills like this teaches more than technique. It teaches trust, respect, and how to move through the world thoughtfully.
