What an amazing day serving our community!

Today, we had the incredible opportunity to provide more than 350 filled bookbags to families in our community and five-plus Wake County schools. This was made possible because of the incredible partnerships, generous donations, and dedicated volunteers who continue to show up and make a difference.

A huge thank you to every sponsor, volunteer, donor, and community partner who helped make today happen. Your generosity and support are making a real impact!

We are so grateful for a community that continues to come together, give back, and invest in our children and families. We truly could not do this without you!

Today, our friends from Friendship Chapel Baptist Church helped us prepare for the Back to School Drive! 🎒📚

We are so grateful for all of our amazing volunteers who continue to give their time and support. ❤️

We look forward to seeing everyone Saturday from 10 AM–12 PM at the Back to School Book Bag Giveaway!

WARM Cafe will be serving a free lunch tomorrow at Hope House ( inside the annex) Thursday, August 13th, from 12:30-2:00 PM. The menu includes:

Sausage with peppers and onions
Potato salad and breadsticks
Tomato and cucumber salad
Warm Cafe Sheet Cake

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, as everyone is welcome to get a WARM, healthy meal!

Today was STEM Challenge Day at Hope House Summer Kids Club, and what a blast we had! 🧪🔬✨

Our young scientists got hands-on with some amazing experiments:
🌪️ Tornado in a Jug
🪱 Dancing Gummy Worms
🍋 Lemon Volcano
🫧 Elephant Toothpaste
⚽ Bouncy Ball Slime

There were lots of "oohs," "aahs," and smiles as we explored science through fun and creativity.

Watching our kids learn, experiment, and discover was the best part of the day! Look at the comments for videos from today!

Starting July 19 through August 9, we will be collecting school supplies for the Hope House Back-to-School Book Bag Giveaway!

Donations of new school supplies can be:

Dropped off in the lobby at Friendship Chapel Baptist Church Sundays from 9:30am-11:30am.

Brought directly to Hope House on Thursdays from 1:00–2:00 p.m.
