Combat Warriors Inc.

Combat Warriors Inc. Our mission is to honor and support the commitment and courage of our combat veterans. Combat Warriors Inc.

We understand our nation’s armed forces live at the point of the sword, with a toll measured by both body and soul. We embrace the reality that no civilian can fully understand the trials and difficulties faced by our combat veterans. However, we know of the healing power of a sunrise over Pamlico Sound, a turkey’s wild hymn to the springtime woods, or a buck grunt in the fall. When a man is willi

Our 13th Annual "Old Drum Outing" weekend was a tremendous success! Everyone arrived at Atlantic Beach Friday afternoon where we enjoyed dinner, fun and fellowship followed by a by a tour of the Atlantic Beach Fire and Police Stations. We also engaged in a friendly competition of Mini Golf at the Atlantic Beach Town Park.

Saturday morning began at the North River Sporting Club. The group was able to show off their shooting skills at the range. Saturday evening was spent fishing at Cedar Island for Old Red Drum. We ended the weekend at Fort Macon State Park on Sunday!

Thank you to the servicemembers that joined us for the weekend. While we could never repay you for the sacrifices you have made, it's our goal to give you a memorable weekend and precious time spent with your loved ones.

OPERATION HARDWOOD 2026

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) affects millions of people worldwide, including military veterans, first responders, survivors of violence, and individuals exposed to traumatic events. While evidence-based treatments such as psychotherapy and medication remain central to PTSD care, complementary activities that promote emotional regulation, purpose, and social connection can significantly enhance recovery. COMBAT WARRIORS INC provides these avenues of PTSD recovery by providing outdoor experiences; however, NOW, COMBAT WARRIORS INC is providing Woodworking as a promising therapeutic activity to support mental health and resilience among veterans living with PTSD.

Key Benefits of Woodworking for PTSD:
1. Reduces Stress and Anxiety
2. Encourages Mindfulness and Present-Moment Awareness
3. Builds Confidence and Self-Efficacy
4. Provides Healthy Emotional Expression
5. Fosters Routine and Structure
6. Strengthens Social Connection

On June 20th, COMBAT WARRIORS INC introduced the woodworking pathway to combat PTSD to four combat veterans. A social connection was formed amongst the individuals coming from similar military backgrounds and sharing a delicious breakfast from Abby’s Empanadas and an incredible lunch from Bud Wiser’s BBQ. The four Warriors spent the day learning woodworking techniques, maintenance of equipment, and creating a personalized cutting board in recognition of their accomplishment. Special thanks to Josh @ DOL Creations for providing the materials, equipment, and the know-how and Andy @ RUHL for using his facility.
Metal work is next!

This Independence Day, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of the men and women who have served our nation.

Freedom is never taken for granted—it is protected by those who answer the call to serve. Today, we celebrate our country's independence while remembering the veterans whose dedication has helped preserve it.

As we gather with family and friends, let's also take a moment to thank the veterans in our communities and recommit ourselves to supporting them long after the fireworks fade.

Combat Warriors Inc wishes you a safe, joyful, and meaningful Fourth of July.

Happy Independence Day!

On Friday, June 26th, the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) gathered to observe the monthly tradition of honoring our fallen brothers.

This month, we remember:

• SFC Peter Tycz II — Killed in a MC130 crash on June 12, 2002, Afghanistan
• CPT Jason Jones — Killed in action on June 2, 2012, Afghanistan
• SSG Logan Melgar — Killed on June 4, 2017, Mali
• SSG Alexander Conrad — Killed in action on June 8, 2018, Somalia

Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the mission and to their teammates will never be forgotten. We honor their memory, reflect on their service, and remain committed to carrying forward the legacy they left behind.

On this Day, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and unbreakable spirit of the Allied heroes who stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944. They faced impossible odds so future generations could live in freedom.

Their bravery changed the course of history and reminds us that freedom isn't free. Today, we remember the fallen, salute the veterans, and stand proud of the values they fought to defend.

May we never forget the price they paid for our freedom. 🇺🇸
