🐾 Our Spirit Wear store is up and running for a limited time! It will be open until 3/3 and orders will be delivered to the school within 2 weeks after.

🐾 We have a limited amount of shirts IN STOCK at school and they can be ordered online at the link below. Youth sizes are $10 and adult sizes are $14. They will be delivered to your child’s classroom within 2 school days from ordering.

📣 Tomorrow 3rd grade will be taking the Beginning of Grade assessment at 9:30. A few key reminders for your children:

🐾 Eat a healthy breakfast (lunch will be a little later in the day)
🐾 Bring a fully charged device
🐾 No electronics (fit bits, smart watches, cell phones) are permitted in the testing room while testing
🐾 Bring glasses (if your child wears them)
🐾 Be on time

🐾 With a MySchool Bucks account paying for school meals is easy. Go to www.MySchoolBucks.com or call (855) 832-5226 to enroll. You'll need your child's ID number, available in your registration materials or at your school. Once your account is established you may securely deposit funds to your child’s account, check balances, and set spending limit

🐾 PATIENCE is key during the first few days of carpool. Please remember no left turn into the school during carpool time, have your number visible, remain in your car and have your child enter the car from the right side. If you do not have a carpool tag, you will be asked to pull up to a designated spot, present ID and checked in by the office for pick up status. **Please do not block driveways or intersections in the neighborhood beside the school.**

🐾 Here Comes the Bus translates GPS data into an easy to use customizable map that works on a computer, tablet or smartphone. Today begins the last full week of summer!! Below are a few reminders:

🐾 Back to School Night is 8/22 from 4:30-6pm. We will be hosting a school supply drive for every grade. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

🐾 Meet the Teacher for kindergarten families is on 9/3 from 1pm-3:30pm.

🐾 Summer reading logs are due on 8/30!! All students that turn in their completed reading logs will receive a party from the Richland Creek Elementary PTA.

🐾If you ordered spirit wear it will be available to pick up at the PTA table located in the main hallway on 8/22 from 4:30-6pm.

🐾 Our Spirit Shop is up and running until 8/5!! Click on the link below to purchase your RCES gear. We have added breathable shirt options and toddler sizes! 🐾

All items will be distributed at Back to School Night on 8/22 and during the first week of school.

How is everyone doing on their summer reading? Don’t forget to log your books with the form below!!

📚 Students from each grade level can participate simply by reading during the summer and filling out the reading log (graphic novels, nonfiction, picture books, chapter books, etc., are allowed).
📚 Students need to read the entire book, write down the title and color in the paw print to give the book a review.
📚 Forms are due back on 8/30/24 and must be signed by a parent/guardian.
🎉 All students who participate and read 20 books will receive a celebration in September provided by the PTA.

The results are in! Next school year's board will be Logan Greene as President, Chantal Van-Tull and Dallas Sparks as VPs, Adriana Aleman-Crane as Treasurer and Meagan Smith as Secretary! Thank you to everyone who came out to vote last night! We are looking forward the 202-25 school year at The Creek!
