🌧️💙 A Rain Safety Reminder for Our Rock’n Families! 💙🌧️

Rock’n Our Disabilities parents and caregivers, a little preparation can help keep our loved ones safe and comfortable during rainy weather and power outages.

🔦 Keep flashlights and extra batteries within reach. 🔋 Charge phones, tablets, and portable chargers. 📻 Have a battery-operated radio available for updates. ⚡ Stay at least 100 feet away from downed power lines and call 911. Nearby puddles, wet grass, and other surfaces can carry electricity.

🧸 Prepare a comfort kit with familiar items, headphones, favorite snacks, and calming activities. Changes in routine, thunder, or sudden darkness can feel overwhelming, so offer reassurance and explain what’s happening in a way your loved one understands.

Stay safe, stay prepared, and look out for one another! 💙🤘
