Meet Ruben!
Ruben Clemente and his wife Betty will be in Peru.

Ruben's primary ministry will be planting churches in Huánuco, Peru, and throughout Latin America. He will also serve as a teacher, advisor, and consultant the WORLD REACH Mobile Bible Institute in Huánuco, and will assist the Peru Bible Institute Director in launching new Mobile Bible Institutes across the country.

After the glacier collapse in Langtang National Park pushed enormous amounts of water and mud into Nepal, I wanted to provide information so you would have a list that, if you want, you can use to pray specifically for churches and pastors, as well as the communities around them. By combining the data I received from two Kathmandu pastors, the following is a list with the district name, the pastor’s name (if
provided) and prayer request(s):

- Betrawati Church (Rasuwa): church building destroyed
- Dakhbari Church (Rasuwa): 17 people are missing (Pastor Kumar Gurung)
- Grace Church (Nuwakot): 3 believers are missing
- Mailing Church (Rasuwa): 48 believers missing and church damaged (Pastor Dil Bahadur Tamang)
- Naw Jyoti Baptist Church (Nuwakot): building partially damaged (Pastor Tirtha Giri)
- Punarutthan Church, (Nuwakot):): the pastor is missing and the church building is damaged
- Punarutthan Church, (Rasuwa): (same church name as above - different area - it means “Resurrection”) building
and members affected (Pastor Dipak Bartal)
- Santi Bazar (Nuwakot): 29 believers have died
- St. Petra Church (Nuwakot): 4 believers are missing
- Syabrubesi Church, (Rasuwa): 3 believers are missing (Pastor Lake Tamang)
- Timure Church (Rasuwa): many believers have died
- Tukche Anugrah Church (Nuwakot): 4 believers missing (Pastor Dipak Yonjan)

Dear friends & family,

Thank you so much for praying for my teaching trip to Cúcuta, Colombia this past week. God is good and answered your prayers! I taught a course on Hermeneutics to 32 students at our Bible Institute (BI) in Cucuta, and God really blessed the course. We had class last Thursday and Friday from 6-10 p.m. and Saturday from 8 am–12 noon. All the students completed their course manuals which they had worked on for the previous 2 months. I taught summaries of each unit, and they did small group exercises, took quizzes, gave group presentations and took a final exam. I enjoyed teaching them and they are a hardworking and committed group of students.

On Sunday, I preached at both morning services of the church where we have our BI courses. I preached on Mark 15:15-21, where Jesus is condemned by Pilate, whipped and mocked by the Roman soldiers and Simon is compelled to carry Jesus’ cross. I talked about Jesus’ amazing love for us because He went through this terrible suffering and crucifixion voluntarily because He loved us and wanted to save us. At any moment, He could have called on 72,000 angels and gotten out of it. But He chose to see it through! I gave an invitation at the end of each message and 15 people raised their hands to receive Christ and 40 people raised their hands to surrender their lives fully to Jesus to serve Him wherever He leads. God is good! Also, I felt safe during my time in Cúcuta, and there were no security incidents, so I really appreciate your prayers for me.

Bobby and some of the Kenya team got to preach at the Ukuru prison this morning. More than 200 came to saving faith in Christ! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!
