Meet Our New Hires: First Up, FF/EMT Luke Hansen!
Our New Hire Orientation Class has been busy over the past couple of weeks! Let’s take a moment to get to know each of our newest members and learn a little more about the people behind the uniform.
Born and raised in western Illinois, Luke has called Florida home for the past three years. He and his wife, Ashley, have been married for 15 years and live in North Port with their two daughters, who keep the family busy with school, sports, and plenty of softball!
When they’re not at the softball field, the family enjoys traveling the country in their RV, camping, exploring the mountains, and spending time outdoors.
Luke is excited to begin this new chapter in the fire service and grateful for the opportunity to serve the community he now calls home. He looks forward to learning, growing, and becoming part of the brotherhood and traditions of the fire service.
