The Plate Project is a mission-based ministry working to solve the hunger issues for children around the world.

What if a meal could do more than feed a child? What if it could help save their life?

During our recent Plate Project Golf Scramble, our co-founder Jenny shared a heartbreaking reality about the children and families we serve in Haiti. 🇭🇹

When families are desperate for food, children can become especially vulnerable to exploitation and human trafficking.

Jenny’s story is a powerful reminder of why The Plate Project exists.

We’re not just filling empty stomachs. We’re helping create safe places where children can be fed, loved, protected, and given hope. ❤️

Every meal matters. Every child matters. And every person who partners with this ministry is helping make a difference that reaches far beyond the dinner table.

✈️ In just over a week, our team will be heading to the Dominican Republic to continue this mission through meals, VBS, supplies, and sharing the love of Jesus.

⛳️🌴 The countdown is ON! Tomorrow is the BIG DAY! ❤️

We’ve been busy setting up and getting everything ready for our 2nd Annual Plate Project Golf Scramble, and we are SO excited for what tomorrow holds!

🌦️ Rain or shine, we’re swinging with a purpose! (But we’re definitely praying for sunshine! ☀️🙏🏼)

And while we’re looking forward to a fun day on the course, our hearts are focused on something much bigger.

❤️ Our goal tomorrow is to raise enough funds to provide an ENTIRE YEAR of Sunday dinners for families in the Dominican Republic! 🇩🇴🍽️

Imagine families knowing that every Sunday, they have a place to come, a hot meal waiting for them, and a community ready to welcome and love on them. That’s the difference we’re hoping to make!

Every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, and donation helps bring us closer to making this a reality.

We’re believing BIG and praying that tomorrow will be a day filled with generosity, laughter, fellowship, and lives being changed!

This Saturday is about so much more than a round of golf. Every sponsorship, donation, golfer, and helping hand allows The Plate Project to continue feeding and serving children in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

❤️ This is why we do what we do.

Every plate served represents a child who is being fed, cared for, and reminded that they are loved. Watching these kiddos in the Dominican Republic gather around the table is a beautiful reminder that something as simple as a meal can make a very real difference. 🇩🇴🍽️

And there are some BIG weeks ahead for The Plate Project!

⛳️ In just a few days, we’ll gather for our 2nd Annual Golf Scramble, raising support to continue this work.

✈️ Then, toward the end of October, our team will head to the Dominican Republic to serve these children in person—bringing supplies, sharing meals, hosting VBS, building relationships, and sharing the love of Jesus.

We would love for you to partner with us. Maybe that means praying for these children, our ministry partners, and our team. Maybe it means giving financially to help make the work possible. Maybe it’s simply sharing this Reel so someone else sees the need.

Is one child enough? ❤️

As we prepare for our upcoming Plate Project Golf Scramble, our co-founder Jenny shares a little of what God has been putting on her heart.

It’s easy to look at registrations, numbers, fundraising goals, and everything that still needs to come together and wonder, “Will it be enough?”

And then comes the reminder: What if it changes the life of ONE child?

One child fed.
One child loved.
One child given hope.
One life changed.

That one child is worth it. Every single time. ❤️

This golf scramble isn’t really about golf. It’s about the children on the other side of every golfer, sponsor, donation, and person who chooses to show up.

Our upcoming Dominican Republic mission trip is getting REAL! ✈️

This week, an amazing group of volunteers came together to sort, organize, pack, and prepare the supplies we’ll soon be carrying with us to serve the children and families in the DR.

From Bibles and VBS supplies to crayons, markers, notebooks and so much more, every item represents an opportunity—to love a child, build a relationship, meet a need, and most importantly, make Jesus known. 🙌🏼

We are so thankful for every person who donated supplies, gave financially, showed up to pack, or has been covering this trip in prayer. This mission truly takes a village!

And we’re not quite finished yet. 🧳 We have a LOT to get from here to the Dominican Republic, and donations toward our checked baggage costs and remaining trip expenses would be an incredible blessing.

Soon, everything you see on these tables will be in the hands of the people we’ve been preparing and praying to serve. That’s pretty amazing. 🥹❤️

🌿✈️ REMINDER: VBS Packing Party this Monday! ❤️

Our Dominican Republic mission trip is getting closer, and Monday we’re coming together to prepare VBS supplies for the kiddos we’ll soon get to serve! 🎒✏️🖍️

Join us as we assemble VBS pouches, organize supplies, and get everything ready to take with our team.

Want to help with supplies? We can still use pencils, glue sticks, crayons, and small notepads. Financial gifts toward purchasing supplies are also greatly appreciated.
