🌳 Celebrating World Environment Day 🌎
The Rotary Club at Wellen Park was proud to honor World Environment Day by planting 30 trees throughout our community, helping create a greener and more sustainable future for generations to come.
This hands-on service project reflects Rotary's commitment to environmental stewardship and our belief that even small actions can make a lasting impact. From unloading and transporting trees to digging, planting, and watering, our members came together to make a difference right here in Wellen Park.
A special thank you to Sunnygrove Landscape & Irrigation for their partnership, support, and expertise in helping bring this project to life. Community partnerships like these make meaningful projects possible.
Together, we are strengthening our environment, beautifying our community, and living Rotary's motto of Service Above Self.

A heartfelt thank you to the Wellen Park High School Cheerleading program for the kind recognition.
When we received the call that help was needed transporting mats for practice, our members were happy to step in. Supporting our local students, schools, and youth programs is exactly what community service is all about.
We are proud to partner with organizations throughout Wellen Park and North Port that make a positive impact on the lives of our families and future leaders.
Thank you to the coaches, athletes, parents, and volunteers who work so hard to build a strong program and represent our community with pride. We wish the Eagles a successful and exciting season ahead!
Together, we continue to prove that when a community comes together, great things happen.

📚✨ There’s something powerful about seeing a room full of kids light up over a book.
Thank you for the SWFL Rotary - Southwest Florida Rotary Club for sharing this amazing opportunity to serve the community through literacy with us.
We’re incredibly grateful to have been part of this special literacy event at The Bookdragon’s Lair in Port Charlotte, bringing stories, culture, and community together in such a meaningful way.
“Festivals at the Bungalow” continues to do exactly what Rotary is all about...creating impact, building connections, and investing in the next generation through literacy.
And the work doesn’t stop here… we’re excited to continue sharing these books with local partners like The Twig to keep that joy of reading growing. 💛

It was such a pleasure to meet the incoming President of Rotary International Yinka Babalola, Rotary Club of Trans Amadi, Nigeria, and his wife Tressie at the 100th year celebration of the Rotary Club of Sarasota on Saturday. And our members found we had a lot in common with the Rotary Club of Wellen Park, another of our District's fairly new clubs, who joined us for this photo. President Babalola is an engineer who met his wife in Rotaract and had a 25-year career as a Shell Oil executive. 🇺🇸 Rotary District 4465 (Peru) – leading a powerful sensory park project for individuals with disabilities

🇺🇸 Healing for Heroes – giving disabled veterans a place to rest, recover, and reconnect

We’re especially proud to support those who have served our country. Standing behind our veterans isn’t just something we say—it’s something we do.

We meet the 2nd & 4th Wednesday from 5:45–7:15 PM at Capstan, Wellen Park—and every meeting keeps raising the bar.
