We’re so grateful to the sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated for their continued support of our community! 💚

Every year, the sorority donates to our school supply drive to help make sure children have the supplies they need to start the school year ready to learn. This year, they donated an incredible **50 backpacks and 72 school supply kits**!

The New York Alliance for Inclusion and Innovation, with support from the New York State Council on Developmental Disabilities (CDD), is conducting a survey to better understand the housing needs, goals, and experiences of people with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) in New York State.

The survey asks about:
• Your current housing situation
• Plans for the future
• Housing supports and services you may need
• Concerns and ideas about future housing

Your feedback can help inform future housing resources, planning, and supports for people with I/DD and their families.

Are you a person with a developmental disability (DD) or a family member who is new to advocacy and wants to learn more?

The NYS Council on Developmental Disabilities (CDD), in partnership with the New York Alliance for Inclusion & Innovation and The Arc New York, is accepting applications for the 2026 Advocacy Institute this September!

Participants will:
✅ Learn from experienced advocacy leaders
✅ Build practical advocacy skills through interactive activities
✅ Gain confidence advocating for their needs, interests, and communities
