Valhalla Schools Foundation The VSF is a nonprofit education foundation that provides grants to enhance the academic resources of the Valhalla Schools.

The VSF operates independent of the school district under the direction of a volunteer board of directors. The Foundation works with educators, business leaders, alumni and residents of the community to promote excellence in public education.

The Valhalla Schools Foundation Board is proud to announce we were able to fully fund all of the grant applications for the coming school year! We will present our check to the District at its August School Board meeting.

Each year, the Valhalla Schools Foundation gives a scholarship to a graduating Valhalla HS senior who plans to study to become a teacher. The VSF Scholarship in Memory of Antonia Piria was established when that beloved teacher passed away, and bequeathed money to our Foundation for this purpose. This year’s scholarship winner is Mariana Lopez-Bedoya, shown here with our President, Allison Linsley. Congratulations, Mariana! We wish you much success!

Thank you to all in our community who participated in our Chipotle fundraiser yesterday. We gained $261.45 to put toward worthy grants (and some of us gained a pound from the yummy Burrito Bowls!)
