As far as I can tell, we have only one Daddy at Herd and Flock Animal Sanctuary and that is Teddy! He sired our goat residents Biscuit and Oreo with Meg and keeping the family together was one of the reasons we were motivated to take them in. We are so happy we did. Happy Papa's Day Teddy!

We Are Hiring a Part-Time Animal Caregiver (Temporary)

We’re seeking a dedicated animal caregiver for a temporary part-time position at Herd & Flock Animal Sanctuary. This role involves direct animal care, including tasks such as manure management, restocking supplies, and daily care for cows, pigs, chickens, goats, pigeons, rabbits, cats, and dogs.

Position Details:
🐮Location: Vacaville, CA
🐔Schedule: 9-12 hours per week (i.e. 3 hour shift on 3 days each week)
🐰Hours of Operation: 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
🐷Pay Rate: $20/hour
🐱Duration: July 1 - September 15

Requirements: Must be local to Vacaville/Fairfield/Dixon/Davis and have a vehicle for transportation Able to lift 30+ lbs Work outdoors in all weather Over 18 years of age Comfortable around large animals and able to work independently Aligned with our mission and respectful toward animals
