Hey Friends!

Check out this Foster Care Outreach Opportunity!

New Life Church in Alamo is hosting a Holiday Event on Saturday, December 5th from 10am to 2pm, just for foster families — gifts, Santa, and a day to show these kids they are seen and loved.

We'd love to invite you to get involved! Here are some ways you can participate:

GIFT CARDS FOR TEENS— Amazon, Target, or Visa gift cards ($15–$25) go a long way for older kids who are harder to shop for
WRAPPED PRESENTS FOR KIDS — new toys, games, or books for ages 0–12
FOOD BOXES — non-perishable pantry staples to send home with foster families
CAREGIVER LOUNGE MEALS— snacks, drinks, or a hot dish for the foster parents while kids enjoy the event
CAREGIVER GOODIE BAG ITEMS - paper bags, candies, fun items, and other things that can be a blessing to foster and kinship parents.

Every donation directly blesses a child in foster care and the family caring for them. Even one item makes a difference.

This might be the app that I hope gets most traction.

It is called Calm Cove. It is a designed specifically for kids in Foster care. It’s a space just for them to play, ask big questions, and feel the big feels.

If you know a Family and Foster care, you can share this resource with them.

Each character has a foster story that kids can hopefully relate to!

All the resources we do for Foster Family are free

We have a family who is taking in a 17 month old. Baby only coming with a small bag. Need clothes, diapers, formula and more.

We created an app for families. It started with the idea of creating questions foster families can ask to build relationships and expanded to include all kinds of relational dynamics.

The goal is to build and strengthen relationships. For foster families, it's about building relationships to strengthen the safe space kids need in a new home that they don't know.

My favorites are the "Would You Rather" and "Act It Out." These questions build deeper bonds with those you do life with.

This is honestly my favorite app I've built. I built it how I wished other Bible apps would be built.

Bibel is Swedish for Bible- It isn't spelled wrong ;)

BibelGo approaches Scripture through context, content, and culture. Not just what a passage says, but what it meant to the original audience and what it means for us today. It's the kind of depth that changes how you read the Bible.
