It all started with a message from a friend, “Hey, someone left a puppy at the Winterset sale barn. It was just left in a cage and has been here since last Tuesday. Do you know anyone that could help?”

Naturally, in true OMD fashion, we named him Rooster. Which is now Roo. Little did we know that Roo would be adopted by the most generous family and Assistant Store Leader of Scheels! Every year since he was adopted, several Scheels team members have pooled their annual employee donations for Oh My Dog Rescue! Their kindness is overwhelming and it has been so fun to watch Roo grow up!

THANK YOU to Scheels, Mitch and his team, and Roo’s adoptive family! We are so grateful and this will help rescue many more dogs just like Roo.

Meet Tito! This smart, funny pup weighs 8.5 pounds and is ready for his forever home. He is already kennel trained and making great progress with his potty training. He loves his toys and needs a confident big sister or brother dog to help him shine.

My Likes and Dislikes

Favorites: Playing with fun toys and hanging out with other dogs.

Not a fan of: Being picked up right now. He prefers to keep all four paws on the floor!

Needs time with: New people. He can be a little shy at first and needs a gentle hello.
