THIS is exactly why we fought so hard for the animal torture bill. He probably won’t be convicted under the new law as it unfortunately doesn’t go into effect until July 1. Under current law he will only get a serious misdemeanor. Under the new law he would be charged with a felony and likely serve time in prison. We hope justice is served one way or another for Lola.

Ducky (left) was very loved by his first mama, and she got sick and could not care for him so he was returned to us.

Cue our amazing partnership with Paws and Pints.

This wonderful couple already met their first adoptable OMD pup Shindig while visiting the Paws & Pints dog park (the most magical place on turf), and when Ducky's foster brought him to play and they met this little fluff...

Well, you have seen the Disney films: There were chirping birds and wagging tails and rainbows and sparkles... AND Ducky has a new furever.

Mr. Muggles loves fetch, walks, car rides and cuddling. He ok with dogs and cats and older kids . He is 10 years old but acts like a puppy still he is DNA test tested Chesapeake Bay retriever and Pug. What a combo!  His profile will be posted on the website today and we will start accepting applications.

Look at this! Our friends and neighbors at ZookSpur Cottage Creations have selected us as their recipient for donations thru Emma’s dog and cat treat sales! This ambitious young lady makes her own freeze dried treats (along with other goodies)! You can find her at the Madrid farmers market this Saturday! Support local, support OMD! Madrid Downtown Farmers Market shopping peeps showed Emma some amazing support last weekend! She has raised $197 so far this month to donate to Oh. My. Dog 🐶 Rescue 💗 let’s keep the momentum going and show up again next Saturday! We plan to have plenty of cat and dog treats that all sale proceeds will go to this fund.
