The National Pork Industry Foundation has stood with pork since the foundation’s inception, boosting opportunities for up-and-coming leaders, focusing on education, and building relationships that hold meaning and value. Many have seen the benefit of our programming either directly or indirectly, as many of our scholarship awardees continue to positively affect the industry, researching, educating, and advocating for pork. In the coming years, we want to do more! We want to revitalize our programming, renew our position, showcase all the prospects pork can bring, and extend our reach into the communities where our greatest assets live and work every day.
There is no denying that the industry has faced incredible challenges the past few years, which is why foundations like ours are so integral for the future. But we cannot do it alone. The foundation relies on outside funding and the generosity of the many people who believe in our mission to promote all aspects of the pork industry, engage in research projects, and provide scholarships and support for any projects that promote the pork industry and improve health, safety, education, and access to pork.
