When a baby stops breathing, there’s no time for a quick refresher on proper CPR technique. It’s a skill you must have down. That’s why staff at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital undergo regular neonatal CPR training. And now, they have a brand-new training tool, thanks to a grant from the hospital’s Greatest Needs Fund. The infant CPR manikin offers several new features, including enhanced compression and ventilation measurements, and a sensor to ensure correct hand placement. We love when philanthropy enhances world-class healthcare.
