Ag students have been busy in the shop finishing up projects as the year winds down. Ag III made recycled lamps, Ag II have been welding, and Ag I is working on boxes (we didn’t quite get that one done, next year!).

Ag Day 2026 was a success as we taught 2nd graders about agriculture!

We made it back to Ohio! The team placed 27th out of 102 teams, and was the highest placing Ohio team! Congrats and thank you to everyone who helped sponsor the trip. We appreciate it.

Today was beautiful as we continued to work on practice soil pits. We also took a boat ride through Bricktown and learned about the history of the area. Our coaches meeting and team social were this evening so we’re ready to go for the contest tomorrow!

Sometimes practice goes well… and sometimes you forget the difference between ponding and flooding! And the exception for very slow runoff x very slow permeability! Then practice doesn’t go so well!

Worked on textures, slope, and topsoil depth at practice pits today. Took time to have lunch at Sid’s Diner on Route 66, visit the National Cowboy Museum, see the Oklahoma City Memorial, and enjoy dinner at Toby Keith’s. Hopefully the wind calms down for practice tomorrow!
