The WCOED works closely with local, regional, and state-wide partners such as JobsOhio to assist in finding and securing programs that provide growth assistance for local businesses. The organization works with many other entities to educate and secure assistance in areas such as workforce development. Many programs, such

as the Business Retention and Expansion Program, are also conducted by the Office of Economic Development to define strengths and weaknesses of the local economy as identified by existing businesses and workers.

The new GoBus route from Columbus to Toledo begins Monday (March 2nd) and includes stops in Upper Sandusky. With additional stops of Marion, Findlay, and Bowling Green along the way, the daily roundtrip service will offer a new transportation option for local residents.
