WCCF's Board Member Rodney Gilliland awarded Mohawk grad Cara Peterson the Wyandot Classics and Cruisers Scholarship. Congratulations, Cara!

Since 2001, Wyandot Classics and Cruisers has hosted its annual charity cruise-in in downtown Upper Sandusky each September, giving back to the community through its ongoing support of local causes.

Recently, the Cruisers partnered with WCCF to establish a scholarship fund to help area students pursue their future goals and invest back into the future of our community.

This year, six scholarships were awarded to Wyandot County graduates. WCCF was honored to partner with Wyandot Classics and Cruisers in the creation of this scholarship fund.

COMING SOON: EMERGING LEADERS 🚨

A brand-new leadership opportunity for high school students across Wyandot County is on the horizon — and it was created with purpose, passion, and the future of our community in mind.

Developed by the inaugural Leadership Wyandot Class of 2026 in partnership with the Wyandot Chamber of Commerce, Emerging Leaders was built BY local leaders FOR the next generation of leaders right here in Wyandot County.

This program is designed to help students:
💥 build confidence
💥 develop real-world leadership skills
💥 connect with local businesses & community leaders
💥 discover their strengths
💥 make a meaningful impact in their communities

And here’s the best part:
You do NOT need to already see yourself as a “leader” to belong here.
Whether you’re outgoing or reserved, involved in everything or still figuring out your path — Emerging Leaders is about growth, opportunity, and discovering what you’re capable of becoming.

This is more than a program.
It’s an investment in the future of Wyandot County.

🔥 STEP UP. STAND OUT. LEAD. 🔥
More details and registration information will be released this summer.

Sharing the same sentiments as our friends at Tiffin Community Foundation! Dr. Kakarala holds two scholarships through WCCF - one for Upper Sandusky High School students and another for Carey High School students. We have experienced Dr. Kakarala's immense kindness and generosity time and again. Congratulations to him on his well-deserved retirement!

Congratulations to Dr. Kakarala on his retirement after 45 incredible years of dedicated service! His career has touched the lives of countless families across generations, and his impact on this community is truly immeasurable.
Did you know Dr. Kakarala has 3 scholarship funds here at The Tiffin Community Foundation? One for Columbian seniors, one for Sentinel seniors and one for Seneca County School seniors with preference given to students entering the medical field.
Thank you to those that have recently donated to this great fund!
