DRIVE BY FOOD COLLECTION
A DRIVE BY FOOD COLLECTION will be conducted by the Upper Sandusky DeMolay Chapter and Squires Manor to benefit the local food pantries, Saturday, November 8, 9:00 AM until 12 noon at the parking lot of the ST PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 120 N 8th St, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
Our local food pantries have continued to experience unusually large calls for service to more and more local residents. Do your part and bring a bag of items to share for our DRIVE BY FOOD COLLECTION. We are focusing on the following non-perishable items: canned items that include canned meat, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, canned fruit, boxed potatoes, tuna, noodles, shampoo, dish soap, laundry soap, other personal care & hygiene items, and of course toilet paper. We will also accept money to be given directly through the Christian Food Pantry.
No need to get out of your vehicle. We will come to you and collect what you have brought and put it in a truck for delivery to the food pantry. If there are any questions, contact Duane Kemerley, [email protected], 567.376.9741.
The local DeMolay Chapter for ages 12 – 21 has been a part of the Upper Sandusky community for sixty years. More recently, a Squires Manor for boy 9 – 11 has been added to the program. DeMolay and Squires are sponsored by the local Masonic Center. Their goals include: developing young men into better leaders of character, teaching them to live their lives by seven core values (Love of Parents, Reverence for Sacred Things, Courtesy, Comradeship, Fidelity, Cleanness, and Patriotism), providing young men with quality guidance and mentorship, and allowing young men to control and shape their DeMolay and Squires experience.
