Please help us welcome Maryjane Nava, our 13U Head AD, to the Upland Outlaws family!

Originally from LA, she has over 20 years experience in procurement & recently started a small business called Fizzy IE dirty sodas & loaded energy drinks.

She moved to Upland in 2015 and has enjoyed being actively involved in the community through her children’s athletics and extracurricular activities. She is a proud mom of four and one bonus son, with her youngest boys - AJ, Kaiden & Bryce - playing for the Upland Outlaws.

Over the years, she has coached youth soccer, served as team mom, and supported local sports programs. Maryjane is honored to serve as the 13U AD and looks forward to supporting our players, families, and the continued success of the Outlaws program.

We’re making great progress with 58 of 96 volunteer slots filled, but we still need help covering our remaining shifts this weekend at the Upland Lemon Festival.

Help us welcome Coach Luis Mendoza to the Upland Outlaws family as our new 6U Assistant Coach!

Born in Compton and currently residing in Rancho Cucamonga, Luis Mendoza is passionate about working with youth and making a positive impact in his community. With two years of experience coaching children through Rancho Cucamonga Little League, he has developed a reputation for being patient, encouraging, and dedicated to helping young athletes succeed.

Luis believes every child deserves support, guidance, and someone who believes in them. He takes pride in creating a positive environment where kids can build confidence, learn valuable life skills, and have fun while growing as individuals. His goal is to help young athletes develop discipline, teamwork, respect, and a strong sense of self-worth both on and off the field.

🍋 OUTLAWS FAMILIES — WE’RE OVER 50% FILLED! 🍋
Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to support the Upland Lemon Festival. We’ve made tremendous progress and are now over 50% of our volunteer goal, but we still have several key shifts that need coverage.

The Lemon Festival organizers specifically wanted to support the Outlaws and have provided us with an incredible fundraising opportunity that could make a meaningful impact on our athletes and families this season.

Essentially, volunteers will help manage parking lot access points, assist with traffic flow, welcome guests, distribute flyers, and help represent the Outlaws throughout the weekend.

We’ll also have an Outlaws information tent set up to connect with prospective athletes and families from across the community.

🎡 Children of volunteer families receive FREE unlimited ride wristbands.

📣 Be sure to support our Outlaws Cheer athletes as they perform on Saturday, June 6 at 12:15 PM on the Lemon Tree Stage!

If you have a few hours available, please consider signing up for a shift. Every volunteer helps us get closer to maximizing this fundraising opportunity for our athletes.

Help us welcome our new Coach to the 8U Upland Outlaws as an Assistant Coach

Coach Flowe First and foremost, I would like to thank the Upland Pop Warner Football program for giving me the opportunity to help build a winning culture in Upland. It was an honor to be part of the coaching staff that led an undefeated team to a championship in 2024. My passion for the game, combined with a winning attitude and commitment to high standards, drives me to help young athletes succeed both on and off the field.

My goal as a coach is to uplift players, build confidence, and help them discover potential they may not even realize they have. I believe in creating an environment where hard work, accountability, and teamwork are valued, while ensuring the players have fun and build lasting camaraderie with their teammates. Football is more than just a game. It’s an opportunity to develop character, leadership, and lifelong friendships.

Help us welcome Coach Gabe to the 13u Upland Outlaws family!

With over 20 years of football knowledge, 15 years of coaching experience, and 12 years as a player, I bring a lifelong passion and commitment to the game. As a linebacker throughout my playing career, I developed a deep understanding of leadership, discipline, and football fundamentals. I was a three-year letterman and two-year starter at Northview High School, experiences that helped shape my competitive mindset and work ethic. As a dedicated student of the game, I continuously seek opportunities to learn, grow, and help others improve. My philosophy is simple: make each day better than the last, both on and off the field.
