One of the reasons for starting the Restoration Hope Foundation was to support other local charities, such as Chris Taylor’s CT3 Foundation. On Thursday night, a group of us took part in the Drive for Hope at Top Golf in El Segundo to help raise money for childhood cancer patients, research and awareness.
Childhood cancers and illnesses have a very personal tie to us, as our very best friends, the Sawyers, who attended the event with us have a daughter, Karah who fought and won her battle with leukemia. She is now thriving and is in her first year of college at Grand Canyon University. Without support from community organizations like CT3, Let It Be and others, families like our friends would be on their own.
At the event Vincent, Karah’s younger brother got to drive against Chris. Chris was gracious enough to sign our Hope hat that was created to show support for those that have fought and are fighting their battle with leukemia.
Thank you to Chris and Mary Taylor and all that helped put on this event. CT3 Foundation Presents: Driving
