Hello,

Cats and Comics is trying to help and older lady who found 3 kittens soaking wet this Saturday. Luckily she knew what to do. Kittens are 5-6 weeks old, they are eating and drinking on their own she dried them up, warm them up and has fed them. She is in her 80’s and asked this neighbor child to pick them up for a pic.

Please text 3236795360, if you can foster thank you.

Hello everyone,

Jonathan Hurtado is doing a Marathon Per Mile Dedication Fundraiser for Jade’s Furry Friends 5K, our charity race where 100% of the proceeds will go towards helping give rescue animals a second chance.

I will be running the Houston Marathon on January 17th, and for every $25 donation I receive, I will dedicate a mile to whomever you decide.

Did you have a furry friend who recently passed away? Do you know someone who is currently unable to run? I can dedicate one of my miles to him or her.

Maybe a pet or friend whom you cherish? I can dedicate one of my miles to them.

Or perhaps a cause that’s close to your heart? I can dedicate one of my miles to that cause as well.

Helping rescue animals is a worthy cause, so I’m committed to filling all 26.2 miles of this fundraiser!

The funds raised will benefit Cats and Comics and No Stray Left behind. These rescues do amazing work by providing services such as veterinarian care, medical assistance, and spaying/neutering procedures for countless cats and dogs they take in.

If you would like to donate, please send $25 via Venmo to @ jadesfurryfriends5K or via Zelle to 909-921-3000

In your note, indicate the name of the person/animal/cause I’m dedicating my mile to. I’ll update the remaining available miles on this post.

Thank you for your consideration for a worthy cause.

Update! Mile dedications so far:
Mile 1 & 2 - Bentley & Royce, Thank you, Cheyenne!
Mile 3 - Paula thanks to Carrie Erskine
