Trixie was rescued having been abandoned. She had a severe vaginal prolapse, mammary tumors, dental disease, anemia. Thankfully she’s now in our care getting all the care she needs. Xavier from Lancaster shelter was rescue only due to fear. He’s now at the hospital battling pneumonia. This poor boy has been through so much. I can’t believe how much the Xolo community has stepped in to help us with him. It’s such a refreshing feeling. I’m so glad we gave a village for this sweet boy. We will be posting periodic updates. Thank you Michelle, Oscar, Luz, Carol, Jer, Maureen, Jessica and his incredible village. Updates to come.

Little Hope was supposed to be picked up by a rescue who never showed up and never called. Leaving this frail little senior in an urgent situation. Our volunteer Maureen was on it and we got her into California Animal Rescue and Emergency Surgery for top notch veterinary care. Ryder (Left) was an owner surrender. At 3 years old he was looking for a family of his own. We had a wonderful family who had adopted Charlie (Right) and they wanted to add to their family. In comes Ryder. He’s officially been adopted and we couldn’t be happier. Huge thank you to his dads, OurFosterHaven (Maureen), Jer, Jessica, and a huge thank you to Michael Gambill (Michael) for all you did for him. You’re the best. We are so happy for you papa. Or foster/adopter families are incredible. Jessi and Frankie from Downey shelter were rescued a few weeks ago. They had pneumonia so needed to be hospitalized and kept in isolation. So you can tell they are so happy to be out and starting a new life. Our team is very happy when our dogs are loved beyond words. They go through so much. So this means the world to us. Thank you jer, Jessica and Maureen for all your help. You moved mountains for these beautiful ladies.

Peline from Downey shelter Downey Animal Care Center was rescued today by Balooja's Foundation we saw her images and it broke our hearts. We are so thankful a wonderful foster family stepped forward to give this senior beauty the chance at a new life. We all know struggle leaving the shelters but I promise theres nothing better than cuddles with a senior pittie. Best snugglers on the planet. Welcome to a new world sweet girl. Thank you everyone for coming together for her. Huge thank you to California Animal Rescue and Emergency Surgery Hope For Paws Maison Sûre fresa_babe Jer Edelman the staff at Downey and all the people who used their voices to advocate for her.
