GET SAFE

GET SAFE We will train you in effective personal safety, violence prevention, and crisis intervention tactics.

What sets us apart from other training companies our three-prong approach to training. First, we start by ensuring the students are self-aware of how their own life circumstances contribute to any crises they are involved in. Then we bring focus on managing crises involving vulnerable populations and those with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Having worked for decades with vulnerabl

e populations, members of the IDD community, first responders, and corporations, GET SAFE is able to help each group better understand one other; thus, we make the de-escalation process easier and less stressful. Lastly, we provide proven verbal tactics and strategies so our students become de-escalation and compliance professionals. It is the practical application of these strategies that make our students successful in their personal journeys of staying safe. We recognize that safety is a personal choice, and we empower our students through enjoyable, educational, and hands-on learning experiences. It is through this training that we are changing mindsets and changing outcomes.

Blocking apps won’t solve everything.
Children need practical tools for navigating the digital world with confidence.

At Get Safe, we teach students how to:
• Recognize unsafe behavior
• Respond calmly under pressure
• Set healthy boundaries
• Speak up when something feels wrong
• Support others experiencing bullying or harassment

Real safety education goes beyond rules. It prepares children to think clearly, communicate confidently, and make safer decisions both online and offline.

Parents can’t monitor every moment. But we can prepare children for the moments that matter most.

Through practical safety training, bullying prevention, and trauma-informed education, Get Safe helps students develop awareness, confidence, and real-world decision-making skills.

Today we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. As you spend time with family and friends, stay present, look out for each other, and take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we often take for granted.

From our Get Safe family to yours, have a safe Memorial Day.

Awareness starts before something happens. Stu and Tim remind us that personal safety is not about living in fear. It is about paying attention. Stay present, trust what you notice, and avoid becoming an easy target. Small moments of awareness can make a big difference.

Stay aware. Stay prepared. Stay safe.

Digital safety isn’t separate from real life anymore.
The conversations we have online, the apps we use, and the habits our kids build all shape their confidence, awareness, and protection in the real world.

At GET SAFE, we believe safety starts with awareness, communication, and practical education that equips kids instead of scaring them.

Because preparing kids for the digital world is part of preparing them for life.

Crosswalks are designed to help keep people safe, but safety should never rely on assumptions alone. In this clip, Safety Stu shares why situational awareness matters every time you step into the street.

Drivers can be distracted. Visibility can be limited. A signal or right of way does not always guarantee someone sees you.

Slow down. Make eye contact when possible. Stay aware of your surroundings. Make sure you are seen. Safety starts with Situational awareness.

Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and confident both online and offline.

Safety is more than reacting to danger. It’s creating environments where kids are equipped with awareness, communication skills, healthy boundaries, and the confidence to speak up when something feels wrong. These are life skills that will follow them into adulthood.

At GET SAFE, we’re committed to helping schools, families, and communities build safer spaces through practical, trauma-informed safety education that meets kids where they are today.

Because feeling safe should never be a privilege. It should be a foundation. Remember, Communication + Connection = Safety!

Charm can feel safe. Confidence can feel trustworthy. But neither equals security.

Stu gets real about drink safety and the risk of lowering your guard too quickly. Especially in new relationships. Someone can be charismatic and still not have your best interest in mind.

Pay attention. Protect your space. Trust what feels off.
Safety isn’t about fear, it’s about awareness and wise decisions.

Watch, share, and send this to someone who needs the reminder.
