As Pride month begins & another civil rights movement sweeps the nation, we must remember gay liberation pioneers such a Marsha P Johnson.

She was at the forefront of the Stonewall riots that lead to the first Gay Pride marches in history.

Our past shows us that in these times we must do whatever it takes to educate those still ignorant to the suffering of their fellow people, listen to those in pain so we can better allies & stand up for what is right. After all, everyone just wants the right to breathe ❤️

Malala Yousafzai was shot in the face at just the young age of 14 by the Pakistani Taliban for blogging about life under Taliban rule & wanting to get a proper education. She has gone on to become an author & activist for women's education & basic human rights.
