JCM harpist Naomi Gesk naomi was named the 2025 OC Register OC Register Artist of the Year for Instrumental Music, one of the highest honors for young musicians in Orange County. This recognition reflects Naomi’s dedication, artistry, and musical maturity.

Naomi has been a valued member of the JCM community, sharing her beautiful musicianship through many performances. You can find her past JCM performances on our YouTube channel.

We’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone and honor the excellence she brings to our program.

One of the most inspiring parts of a JCM season is watching ensembles refine their artistry in real time. In this session, Coach Cho guided the quartet through the power of subdivision, especially in slow‑note passages, helping them find clarity, direction, and a unified pulse.

Cellist Philip Sheegog Philip Sheegog, alum of JCM, shares how chamber music shaped his path, a journey that led him to ARKAI, the groundbreaking string duo now performing worldwide. ARKAI
