Equality is not about giving women more, it’s about ensuring women have the same dignity, opportunities, rights, and freedom to shape their own futures.

We believe every woman deserves to be heard, respected, empowered, and given an equal seat at the table.

We are all born equal, with the same dignity, worth, and rights.

Today, we celebrate the women who lead, inspire, challenge barriers, and create change. And we reaffirm our commitment to building a world where equality is not a goal, but a reality.

As Muslims, we are encouraged to note the recent changes in Saudi Arabia, the heart of the Muslim world, as it updates its educational curriculum to remove several hadith references involving Jews, Judaism, and other religions.

Among the removed material is a narration about the end of times that had been interpreted as describing Muslims fighting and killing Jews, which previously appeared in Saudi educational content but has now been taken out of the curriculum.

Another change appears in a Grade 7 Social Studies textbook, where a hadith that had been understood as implying that Jews were destined for Hell is no longer included in the latest edition, reflecting a shift in how such topics are presented.

These updates represent meaningful steps toward removing antisemitic and exclusionary interpretations from educational materials and promoting a more respectful understanding of different faith communities.

Faith should never be a reason to hate.
