Three Hearts Native Leadership Founded by Native women, for Native women. Skill Building focuses on practical tools for leadership - from governance and advocacy to communication and balance.

Three Hearts Native Leadership creates spaces of balance, healing, and skill-building so that our leaders can rise together in sovereignty, purpose, and community. Three Hearts Native Leadership is a Washington-based nonprofit organization co-founded by Cheyenne Sanders (Yurok), Misha Rodarte (Navajo), and Melanie Montgomery (Quinault) to strengthen leadership, mentorship, and community connection

among Native women and girls. Our mission is to nurture the next generation of Native women leaders through culturally grounded programs rooted in Service, Skill Building, and Sisterhood. Service reflects our shared commitment to community and the way Native women lead with heart, humility, and responsibility. Sisterhood reminds us that our greatest strength is found in relationships built on trust, mentorship, and shared purpose. Guided by a commitment to excellence, we design and deliver leadership experiences that honor both tradition and innovation, empowering Native women to lead with confidence, balance, and sovereignty. Three Hearts creates spaces where Native women rise together, carrying forward the strength and vision of our ancestors while building pathways for those yet to come. 💗

We’ll share lunch and make our own Native earrings with specially curated earring kits, courtesy of Three Hearts Native Leadership and Potlatch Fund.
Not joining the 5K? You’re still invited! Bring your sister, your friend, your cousin, your auntie, or just bring yourself. We’d love to have you with us.

Three Hearts Native Leadership is so excited to collaborate on this casual community gathering for Native women in the Seattle area.

No big agenda, no formal program. Just a chance to gather, meet some new people, catch up with familiar faces, build community, and enjoy some good conversation together.

Whether you’re new to the Seattle area, recently moved back, or have been here forever, we’d love to have you join us. Bring a friend, come as you are, and spend some time in community. ✨

Join Three Hearts for the Raising Girls 5K on Saturday, September 19!
If you'd like to walk with us, please register directly through the Raising Girls event. Once you've registered, email us at [email protected] or text us at (360) 592-3214 to let us know you're joining. We'll send you details about where to meet, along with information about our group lunch after the walk.
Whether you walk the full route or simply come to spend time in community, we'd love to see you there. We hope you'll join us for a morning of sisterhood, movement, and supporting a wonderful cause.

Raising Girls is a Washington nonprofit dedicated to addressing hygiene insecurity and period poverty by providing essential care bags to students and young adults throughout the Puget Sound region. Each year, the organization delivers approximately 7,500 care bags through partnerships with more than 250 schools and community organizations, helping ensure young people have access to the everyday essentials they need to learn, grow, and thrive with dignity.

Still reflecting on everything we learned at the Native Power Building Summit. 🤍

It was a full day of bold conversations, honest reflection, and powerful reminders that leadership is rooted in love, community, and action. We left inspired by Native leaders from across Indian Country who challenged us to think deeper, stay grounded in the people we serve, and lead with courage and joy.

A huge thank you to for creating this space, and for the travel scholarship that made it possible for Three Hearts Native Leadership to be there. We are grateful for the investment in emerging Native leaders and excited to bring these lessons back to our communities.

The work continues, and so does our commitment to building Native women leaders through sisterhood, skill building, and service.

Some of our biggest takeaways from the Native Power Building Summit:
🤍 Lead with love and accountability.
🌿 Stay rooted in the people and communities we serve.
✨ Build with depth, courage, and imagination.
🔥 Remember that Indigenous joy isn’t separate from the work. It is the work.
We left energized by the brilliance of Native leaders from across Indian Country. Every conversation reminded us that our cultures, our relationships, and our communities are our greatest strength.
We’re coming home with full hearts, new ideas, and even more excitement for what’s ahead at Three Hearts Native Leadership.

One incredibly full day at the Native Power Building Summit. 🤍

We’re leaving with new ideas, new relationships, and a renewed commitment to the work ahead. Every conversation reminded us that when Native women invest in one another, our communities are stronger.

Grateful to represent Three Hearts and excited to put what we learned into action. Thank you to everyone who shared their knowledge, stories, and vision with us. The real work begins when we get home. And thank you Advance Native PL 🩷🩷🩷
