2025 Media Circle Shotout - Lance Thorn!

Lance Thorn is a portrait photographer living in Tucson, Arizona, his home for the past seven years. This is his 2nd year as a Media Circle Member.
Raised by a single mother in a dual-cultural household in North Dakota, his background as a gay BIPOC second-generation American has profoundly influenced his creative pursuits.

Annually, around 40 photographers and videographers form the All Souls Procession Media Circle, capturing the lead-up and the procession itself. This group, a mix of veterans and newcomers, amateurs and professionals, vividly documents the community's celebration, honoring, grieving, and remembering of loved ones.

2026 Media Highlights! Abbe Gore :

Abbe Gore is a multidisciplinary artist whose work transforms personal history into visual poetry through clay, textile, photography, and multi-media. A graduate of the University of Arizona (B.A.) and California Institute of the Arts (M.F.A.), Gore brings a richly layered approach to pottery, fabric arts, wind chimes, beadwork, and photography—each medium offering a tactile language for resilience, metamorphosis, and story. In addition to her framed and metal prints her photo fabric work is stitched, layered, and often infused with her own photography—explores the body and its surroundings as living archives of strength and grace.
