💜💜 Thank you Petfinder Foundation 💜💜

Stillwater Animal Welfare was awarded the 2026 Dog Enrichment Grant! This grant will FINALLY help us create a small play yard at our shelter, which will be in this nice grassy area! Our shelter currently uses a very small area of concrete and outside kennels to conduct any kind of playgroup. This new yard will give the dogs more space to run and interact with other dogs!

Anthony is our full-time kennel technician who is always trying to conduct playgroups in the small area we have. Him and Simon, one of our current adoptable dogs, will greatly benefit from a yard! We will also be able to conduct meet-and-greets in this yard, so this benefits future adopters as well!

Playtime in the rain has never been so cozy! Our dogs and volunteers are enjoying our lovely new gazebo thanks to a grant from the Petfinder Foundation. Thanks to Trapper Creek Job Corps for building it!

🐾 Big news — and an even bigger THANK YOU! 🐾

We are so grateful to Petfinder Foundation for awarding Friends of Marshall Animals a 2026 Emergency Medical Grant! This grant has already made a life-changing difference for one very special dog — Marlow. 🧡

You know Marlow. He came to us (along with Shimmer!) battling sarcoptic mange and a deep fear of humans. As if that wasn’t enough, he was also found to have a mass on his hind leg that required surgical removal.

Thanks to this grant, we were able to cover his evaluation and surgery, which was the final step in giving Marlow the healthy, happy life he so deserves. Marlow recently found his Happy Tail in a sanctuary/home of his own, which he shares with Shimmer. 💛

Thank you Petfinder Foundation, for making miracles like Marlow’s possible.
