As we wrapped up the school year at West Middle, Student Support Specialist Nicole Bennett hosted an ice cream celebration to recognize students who showed kindness throughout the year 🍦💜

These students stood out for the everyday things that matter most—helping others, including classmates, and bringing positivity to campus.

They were treated to a well-earned ice cream party full of smiles, laughs, and celebration!

Shoutout to these students for making West Middle School a kinder place this year 🎉

And a big thank you to Nicole Bennett for always finding ways to celebrate and encourage students!

Our Assistant Director/Elementary Education Program Director, Paige Roberts, recently celebrated her very first cohort of students completing the Possible Selves Program.

Throughout the program, students explored their hopes, dreams, and both short-term and long-term goals. Together, we discussed the steps needed to achieve those goals while also identifying obstacles that could stand in the way.

It was a wonderful experience filled with growth, learning, and encouragement — and we are so proud of each and every student! 💙

As the school year comes to a close, we were excited to celebrate our May attendance challenge winner at Mt.Gilead Elementary! 🎉

Congratulations to students in Ms. Strong’s class! We are so proud of your strong attendance and commitment to showing up and finishing the year strong.

A special thank you to Student Support Specialist Lisa Martin for continuing to encourage and support our students throughout the year.

This year’s success is a reminder that when students are present, they’re learning, growing, and building bright futures. Way to end the year on a high note! 👏✨

And just like that, another Green Ridge Elementary School CrA+fters year has come to a close. 💕

Monday the girls decorated tote bags with their own designs and one another’s autographs — turning them into sweet keepsakes from a special year together. One student proudly shared, “This is going to be my yearbook,” as she packed it with her apron, sketchbook, and Joy Jars.

The mentors shared, “One of the greatest joys of this year has been watching these creative, energetic, and kind young women grow in confidence and friendship. We are so proud of each of them and all they’ve accomplished this year.”

A special thank you to our amazing mentors who gave their time, encouragement, creativity, and love to make this year so meaningful for the girls. Your impact will last far beyond this school year!

💰✨ Real-world learning came to life at West Middle School last Friday through the Real Money, Real World experience! ✨💰

Thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped run booths, guide students, and make the day such a success. Your time and support made a meaningful impact.

In partnership with North Carolina Cooperative Extension Montgomery County and Montgomery County Schools, 8th graders explored real-life financial decisions involving housing, groceries, transportation, childcare, and more. 🏠🛒🚗

We’re grateful for everyone who helped make this valuable experience possible for our students! 🌟👏
