The Pearland Crawfish Festival, one of Texas' largest crawfish festivals is moving to MSR Houston Motor Speedway down 288 from Pearland where it has had its home for three years. In the spirit of the move, the festival is expanding its brand to encompass the whole county, renamed the Brazoria County Crawfish Festival. ity feel of a small town fair and serves it up big, with hot, fresh crawfish at a cheap price, along with the best of Cajun dishes and classic festival fare. Entertainment includes the area’s best Zydeco, Texas Country, and Classic Rock bands, while The Houston Blues Society brings in the blues. There are specialty acts like the wildly popular Splash Dogs, armadillo races, crawfish-eating contests, and more. Texas blues-rock singer/songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire, Ally Venable, entertains wherever she goes. With her signature glitter dresses and black knee-high boots, Venable comes off of the ropes swinging dazzling crowds on tour or throughout the festival circuit.

Selwyn Birchwood is an American blues guitarist, vocalist and songwriter from Tampa, Florida. Birchwood gets back to the roots with side-project “Old School!”
Grammy winner and Blues Hall of Famer Bobby Rush lends his harmonica and voice to the title track and anthem for this venture!
