My name is Midnight, a stunning panther kitty who is waiting for a quiet, loving home to call my own. Life was uncertain before I was rescued from the euthanasia list, but I have proven to be a devoted, caring mother to my kittens every step of the way.

I can be slightly skittish at first, but with gentle hands and a predictable routine, my affectionate nature completely shines through. I love running over to welcome my humans, getting head pets, and performing a cute little tap-tap dance when mealtime arrives.

My absolute favorite spot in the world is snuggling in the sink, and I would love nothing more than to find a family with a sink and a heart to spare!

Midnight is fully vetted and ready to go.

✨This week's foster spotlight is Rachel!✨

🐾Rachel has been fostering with us for over a year and loves to foster cats and kittens but is always happy to help with dogs as well.

💕On top fostering over 30 animals in the past almost year and a half, she also is an incredible help with getting so many other animals posted onto Petfinder so they can all get as much exposure as possible!

💬A little message from Rachel on how this journey got started for her:

"A few years ago, my husband found a tiny kitten all alone in a field, crying and covered in sores and fleas. We took him in, got him veterinary care, and helped him get healthy. We planned to find him a home, but he became our foster fail! The joy of watching him blossom into a healthy, happy cat inspired us to keep fostering. Since then, we’ve welcomed many cats and dogs into our home, giving them love and care while they wait for their forever families. Watching them heal, learn to trust, and thrive is what keeps us going."

✨I'm Apollo, and I'm a very smart boy with a lot of growing still to do. Just look at these big paws! I'm a curious puppy who likes to figure things out, and while I can be a little timid at times, I warm right up with the right person.

Want to be my friend? Scratch my belly and play some fetch with me. That's all it takes.

🐾I'm still learning the ropes, and I'm doing pretty well so far. I'm a good boy in the car, and I'm getting the hang of walking on a leash. I don't pull. I just get so interested in sniffing everything that walking takes a back seat. With a little practice, I know I'll master it along with all my other daily routines and rules.

In my foster home, I have a brother I get along with most of the time, though he sometimes corrects me when I get too greedy with the toys. I'm also curious about the house cat, but he gave me one clear warning and I listened. When the day winds down, you'll find me napping right on top of whoever will let me. Give me a chance, and I'll give you my loyalty and love for life.

💕🚨I AM BEGGING OUR COMMUNITY — WE DESPERATELY NEED TWO FOSTER HOMES! 🚨💕

We saved their lives. Now we need YOUR help to keep them safe! 🐾

Two beautiful mama cats and their precious babies urgently need to be moved from their current foster homes. We stepped up when their lives were at risk, but now we need our community to step up for them.

🐈‍⬛💕 FAMILY #1 — MEET TINA AND HER FOUR LITTLE TREASURES!

Beautiful Tina, a stunning all-black mama, and her four adorable kittens — Tommy, Tom-Tom, Tiny, and Tink — were saved from BARC, a high-kill shelter here in Houston.

These precious babies were given a second chance at life, and we are determined to make sure that chance means something.

🐄💕FAMILY #2 — MEET PETUNIA AND HER FLOWER BABIES!

Sweet Petunia, an absolutely adorable cow-print/tuxedo mama, and her three beautiful kittens — Jimson, Lobelia, and Calanthe — were rescued after a local veterinary clinic reached out asking for help.

We couldn’t turn our backs on this little family. We said YES when they needed someone, and now we’re desperately hoping someone will say YES to us.

These two families are friendly, precious, and deserving of every opportunity to thrive.

🏠WE NEED TWO PEOPLE. TWO FOSTER HOMES. TWO FAMILIES WHO DESERVE A FUTURE. 🏠

You do NOT need a big house or a fancy setup to make a lifesaving difference!

A spare bedroom or larger bathroom is enough.

Without fosters, rescues cannot continue saving lives. Without community support, rescues simply cannot exist.

We saved Tina, Petunia, and their seven precious babies. Please don’t leave us without somewhere safe for them to go.
