We had a fantastic June meeting with Dr. Matias Nochetto from Divers Alert Network, who joined us to share his medical expertise and experience handling scuba diving medical cases. Thank you so much for spending time with us!

We’re also just a couple of weeks away from our June outing at Blue Stone Dive Resort in Thomasville, NC. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Great day at for our first dive club outing of the year! It may have been a little chilly, but it was a great time getting together and jumping back in the water. As usual, the food was the best part. Some say the shrimp fajitas were the best they’ve ever had!

We are looking forward to the next outing June 27th at Blue Stone Dive Resort!

We had an incredible May meeting featuring guest speaker Dr. Kylie Smith from I.CARE, a coral restoration and education organization based in Florida! Dr. Smith shared fascinating insights about coral reefs, the threats they’re facing, and the amazing work I.CARE is doing to help restore and protect them for future generations.

Our April meeting felt like uncovering hidden treasure in the Graveyard of the Atlantic! We welcomed Michael McBride in person to share his incredible knowledge of the shipwrecks scattered along the North Carolina coast. This dive into our coastal history told stories of wartime tragedies and maritime accidents that have now become some of our favorite dive sites to explore.
