Rescue positions us above the people we serve — arriving with answers for problems we didn't live.

Walking alongside is different. It requires us to slow down, listen first, follow the lead of the family, and resist the temptation to define success on their behalf.

Humility is not a soft skill. In this work, it's the foundation.
