🎾 ROLL IT BACK: 50 Years of Wheelchair Tennis!

Did you know wheelchair tennis began with one young man’s determination to get back on the court?

In 1976, Brad Parks was paralyzed in a skiing accident. But his love of sports didn’t stop there. Alongside recreational therapist Jeff Minnebraker, he began experimenting with playing tennis from a wheelchair.

What started on a local tennis court grew into a worldwide sport, inspiring generations of athletes and redefining what’s possible.

Our Junior Team Tennis (JTT) season starts this Sunday at Bailey Road Park, and we need YOU to help make it a success!

🙌 Volunteers Needed Every Sunday Through November 8!

🎾 10:45 AM–12:30 PM: 8 Court Monitors needed
🎾 12:30–2:00 PM: Additional volunteer opportunities available

📣 Calling all tennis-playing high schoolers! Love tennis? Need community service hours? This is a great opportunity to give back to the game, support young players, and earn service hours while you're at it!
