On April 21st , L&PS shop stewards hosted a Unity Day Fair at their workplace.

People didn’t just stop by—they stepped up. Signed up, got involved, and started building something stronger together.

This wasn’t just an event. It moved us forward.

Now we follow up and keep building—showing up → stepping up → leading.

Shop stewards are the foundation of a strong union 💪

This week stewards came together for New Hire Orientation (NHO) Ambassador training, stepping up to welcome new workers into our union from day one 🤝

They practiced telling their Story of Self, Story of Us, and Story of Now. Sharing why the union matters to them personally, the history and power of our union, and why the moment we are in right now calls for action.

NHO is more than a first meeting with a union rep. It is the first step in an engagement ladder that continues long after orientation 📈 Moving members from signing a card to participating, organizing, and eventually leading.
