🎾💙 More Than Tennis: A Place to Belong, A Future to Believe In

What makes NJTL of Trenton so special? Sometimes, the most powerful answers come from those who have experienced it firsthand. Premiered at our 32nd Annual Gala in September, this inspiring short film shares the personal stories of three members of our NJTLT family:

🎓 Orion Douglas – NJTLT alumnus and recent University of Chicago graduate who credits the program with helping shape the person he is today.

💙 Glorie Paul – NJTLT alumna, elementary school teacher and parent of current NJTLT students, who describes a community where children "feel safe to dream."

🎾 Giovanni Johnson – Current Ashe Tennis & Education student, junior coach, junior mentor and student ambassador, who calls NJTLT her "second home."

Three different journeys. One community. A lasting impact that extends far beyond the tennis courts.

🎥 Special thanks to New York City filmmaker Sean Welski, who filmed, directed and produced this moving tribute.

Take a few minutes to watch their stories! 💙
