Supporting NJ's prevention workforce 🙌

Yesterday, NJPN CEO Diane Litterer presented a workshop for prevention professionals who support the NJ4S initiatives for Hudson and Union counties at Partners in Prevention.

During the one day class, preventionists learned how to effectively implement environmental change strategies in their communities, with a goal of achieving better health outcomes for all.

NJPN has long stood at the forefront of prevention in New Jersey, connecting and collaborating with local organizations doing important substance use prevention work -- and that continues to this day! ✨

Our first line responders face unique challenges and a distinct occupational culture surrounding trauma response and seeking help. That's why we introduced a new course, First Responder Competency: What Clinicians Need to Know, to equip clinicians with knowledge and strategies to effectively support first responders seeking help.
