Camp Fire Northwest Ohio Our Promise

Young people want to shape the world. Camp Fire provides the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are.

In Camp Fire, it begins now. Light the fire within Camp Fire Sandusky County now serves the Camp Fire Northwest Ohio region. We are a nonprofit youth organization supporting kids in grades K–12 across Hancock, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, and Wood Counties. Camp Fire operates two facilities: Misty Meadows, a 47-acre property south of Fremont, Ohio, offering ODJFS-licensed child care, summer day camps

, and out-of-school programming; and Camp Glen, a 174-acre property south of Tiffin, Ohio, providing residential camp experiences.

Camp should feel within reach for every young person.
Thanks to support from our Incredibowl-a-thon fundraiser and Camp Fire National, camperships are available to help cover the cost of camp this summer. If your family could use a little extra support, we encourage you to apply.
Time at camp builds confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging, and we want your child to be part of it.
