A Night to Remember. 💚

Thank you to everyone who came out to The Milkhouse last night for our Farm to Table Dinner. Looking around that room and seeing so many people who care about local food, our farmers, and the kids in our schools was honestly something we'll be thinking about for a long time.

A huge thank you to Chef Missy Terrell for making the trip from Pittsburgh and sharing her story with us.

We're so grateful to our table sponsors, our local farmers and growers, the Milkhouse team, and every volunteer who helped make the evening come together. None of this happens without you.

Every ticket and every sponsorship goes back into building a stronger local food system and healthier futures for our kids. Thank you for believing in that with us. We can't wait to keep growing this together.

Introducing the Pumpkin Fairies! 🎃🧚

Keep your eyes open around Tiffin because Emilee from the Tiffin Community Kitchen@ and Simply Shop Local are spreading a little fall magic!

Our Pumpkin Fairies will be delivering pumpkins to area businesses and the amazing sponsors who help make our Simply Shop Local events possible. They’ll also be busy decorating around Tiffin to bring some extra fall color and fun to our community.

It’s our little way of saying THANK YOU to the businesses and sponsors who continue to support community events and help us create memories right here in Tiffin.

Yummy !

For so many of us, apple dumplings bring back memories of Tiffin Seneca Heritage Festival🍎

That’s part of what we’re trying to do: bring back some of those special memories while creating new traditions for our community.

Republic Trinity United Methodist Church is bringing the apple dumplings to Strait Country- A George Strait Tribute Community Concert and your purchase supports a great cause! Proceeds will help fund their new fellowship hall—a place for people to gather, connect, and make even more memories together.

What do you remember from Tiffin’s past that you’d love to see return? Let us know! We’d love to hear your ideas and find ways to partner with others in our community to bring old traditions back to life and create some new ones along the way.

Farm-to-Table Dinner Set

Seneca County Common Ground will host the Farm-to-Table Dinner on Thursday, October 8, at 6 p.m. at Milkhouse Reception Hall, 4501 State Route 67, Tiffin. The annual event will bring together local farmers, businesses, community members, and food supporters for an evening celebrating local food and agriculture.

The evening will feature guest speaker Chef Melissa “Missy” Terrell, a Pittsburgh chef, culinary educator, entrepreneur, and Farm to School advocate. Terrell will discuss Farm to School programs and the importance of connecting students with fresh, whole-food meals while creating opportunities for local food producers.

Guests will enjoy a locally inspired dinner featuring bourbon and brown sugar braised beef; buttermilk and herb roasted chicken breast with shallot and thyme cream sauce; smoked Gouda potatoes with crispy grit crumbles; brown butter sorghum carrots; and Lowcountry green beans.

The dinner will also highlight the work of Seneca County Common Ground through the Tiffin Farmers Market, Tiffin Community Kitchen, Community Gardens and food education programs.

Individual tickets are $75. Table sponsorships are available for $600, with additional Cultivator and Abundant Harvest sponsorship opportunities available.

Proceeds from the event will support programs that strengthen the local food economy, provide food education, support local food entrepreneurs and connect the community with fresh, locally sourced food.
